NO WALL OF FAME FOR ROSE!!!

Phillies wont honor Pete Rose after news of him having sex with high school girls. Cancels bobblehead give away also. Rose is suing John Dowd over accusations of him telling the public that Rose was having sex with a few different high school girls and some as young as 12-14 while he was 35-36 and married with two children. It gets better, the attorney for John Dowd, well his name is David Tobin. I laughed when i read that. lol How did these girls keep this quite for this long? No wonder Pete Rose is bankrupt and broke!

I am not defending Pete Rose here, and if the allegations are proven to be true, the law will take its course. I am questioning the timing of this, these are allegations that go back 40+ years, that, in my mind would cause one to look at this with an open mind. Why now? Why just when he is hitting spotlight re Phillies HOF, why has there never been "rumors" before? Why have these victims been silent for + 40 years?

I am just being pragmatic here, nothing more, i am in no way trying to diminish what was alleged to be committed against these girls.

Sign of the times.(see Bill Cosby). Pete shouldn't have filed the lawsuit against John Dowd. Seems like it opened up the can of worms....I actually thought the gambling was worst than what we had heard or since he hung out with fitness guys, it would be steroids.

I never could explain that to people, especially non gamblers. I'd try to explain about resting players, etc or just compare it to a boxer who bets on himself and then suddenly doesn't.......Of course I also could never get across to the same people why you go for 2 when up ONE or FIVE at the end of football games. :lol:
