NOPE maybe you cant see pathetic pass defense but i can Ranked 30th vs the pass and have allowed losers to rack up 92 points in 4 games !

This aint the chumps they beat lately Giants Raiders Eagles total wins between 3 teams TWO!

They are ranked 30th against the pass because teams are trying to catch up the whole game and therefore must pass...the same reason they only let up about 70 YPG rushing.....

Peyton practiced against Kiffen's defense for 7 years....this one is gonna be fun to watch...

Yeah ok but still it's bad !

This is how i figure all NFL teams

think like you have car with 25 gals of gas to use every week well when you keep putiing up high point totals like 30's and 40's and 50's every week your using up a lot of offensive energy wasting it vs chumps !

Sure the other teams try to play catch up because they are down by two td's plus and they do score because Denvers pass D cant stop them

Right now it's all Peytons arm being used Knowshon Moreno is NOT the type of RB that can carry a team I seen him limp through games many times once manning's arm meets up with a decent pass rush and run defense DOWN GOES DENVER!

I won't address your silly gas tank theory, but I will say this. A defense better be a helluva lot better than "decent" against the pass if they want to slow down this Denver magic show.

Since you've used this one statistic in about 10 threads now to highlight how bad Denver is on pass defense, I offer you this statistic:

Denver opponent's completion rate on the season: 57.80% (9th)

Dallas opponent's completions rate on the season: 66.27% (25th)

Easy to just choose out one statistic and use it to skew your opinion on a game.

Peyton using up his arm? Really... Denver is in the top ten in the league in rushing attempts per game, while Dallas is in the bottom ten, and Peyton isn't even in the top nine in pass attempts this season. He only attempts 1.8 more than Romo a game, so is Romo tired too? He must be, with the lack of running game they put on the field.

Efficiency doesn't equal tired or bad. In the two games the Cowboys secondary faced proven quarterbacks in Eli and Rivers, they gave up 31 and 30. The Giants haven't even scored that many points in their next three games.

Agree with all obviously.

And, Denver's pass D is unfairly skewed worse than it is because they are killing everybody, so teams are forced to throw all game to catch up. The Pass D being 30th is strictly based on yards against. Not always an accurate measure.

At any rate... I think Dallas makes this game very competitive, and wouldn't at all be shocked with a win.

Oh, sorry. I missed this before my last post.

But, of course, you are correct.

Exactly, there are only two teams that are being thrown on more than Denver, and for good reason - because they are trying to play catch-up, and that completely skews the total yardage.

I personally would be shocked at a Dallas win - just listening to the interviews with Peyton Manning, and how he isn't satisfied yet. Freakin' guy is a gamer. His offensive weapons are really unmatched on any team. If Rivers and the other Manning can shred Dallas, I'm afraid for them. I think it would take an uncharacteristically poor outing by Manning, some turnovers, and a great offensive day by Dallas. But, this is the NFL, and anything can happen.

Went ahead and looked up Manning's career ATS when he plays against teams giving up a 65% or better completion rate to opposing quarterbacks, which I think is a lot more indicative of the quality of the secondary. For his career in regular season games, he is

28-10 ATS, including 9-0 ATS as a Bronco, winning all games with an average MOV of 18.7 points.
