Hate giving up that much.But Phillies best pitcher is going today.Padilla is the Nicaraguan who has about 5 or 6 pitches. Has great movement on his fastball.Has a change-up,slider,curve,and cutter.He came over in the Schilling trade.Was 7-0 in Scranton lyr,had a great spring,and is 3-2 with a low ERA of 2.41.His WHIP is excellent and in his last 3 outings he won 3-1,3-1 and lost 2-1.Has had only 1 real bad outing and of course little offensive support.
Rockies are one of the worst road teams in baseball.They are 3-11 on the road this yr.Hampton has an ERA of over 6.00 and they are 1-5 in Hamptona last 6 starts.
Phillies love lefties.Batting 407 vs them.Phillies have also won 4 of last 5 at the vet vs Colorado.
Phillies have won 2 in a row after a 1-5 road trip.Phillies bullpen is the worst in the NL.I like them today because Padilla is one of the few pitchers that can hold someone down for 8 innings until it's Mesa time.If the middle relievers get involved that could be trouble.
But Padilla should shut down the Rockies.
I play fantasy baseball.The other nite I benched one of my outfieders who was 0-5,0-4,0-3,DNP,1-4 and 1-3.Didn't score a run in 6 straight games.I have a lot of Larry Bowa in me.I said "sit your ass down Cameron".Erstad[another dog] is takin your place".
Well Cameron hit 4 homers.I guess he showed me.And I still benched him after that."Your not going to show me up".And Cameron is 1-7 since his homer outburst.Problem is Erstad is 2-10 replacing him. And who said this is just fantasy.......
