There is more just like that coming. Phils got the long ball off Sherrill which was quite rare. Today they will need to go deep in bullpen again. Bet the over

It was hard to watch, that's for sure. Madson had an average season and Lidge was horrid. It's just something that you had to accept throughout the season because Charlie's track record shows that he will stick with them through all the hardships. In summary, being a season ticket holder, it did age me a bit...lol.

Can I ask you a question, please

Gambinoshark. This thread title should read
"Dodgers fans, Quick Question...."

I mean come on ! All we heard on ESPN was how the Dodgers have the best bullpen in all of baseball..Blah, Blah, Blah.

Last time I checked the BOXSCORE it was the Dodgers reliever Sherill who put the nails in the coffin for LA allowing the Ibanez 3 run homer to make it a 4 run game.

So why are you questioning Madsen or Lidge ?

Relievers are not run-proof in this day in age of baseball. None of them are. I know you were on Philly but I think it is the VAUNTED Dodgers bullpen that failed last night and not the HORRIBLE Phillies bullpen. GL>

Its nice to see Lidge hanging in there so far, but he will need more balls hit at people like last night(chase utley double play ball). He is not dominating anyone this year and its been very tough to watch, and I would expect much of the same. Madsen may have a game or two where he dominates again, lide doubtful. Wouldn't be surprised to see Aire pitch in the ninth again to lefties if we are so fortunate!
But to answer your question: Lots of beers and shots!:toast:
