Philosophical Ponder - 2 Questions

When you make an early wager(say at +1.5) and check later to the spread has gone against you (say even)should you be happy that you got the 1.5 or wonder what everyone else knew that you did't?

Why dod we do this shit?

Well it alll comes down to how confident you are about your selection. Sure there are folks out there that are sharp as a razor but how do you know the public didn't move that line.
