Equibase has $148,201. If you want, we can use this thread. Was looking for one of your horses today. Thought you said Saturday.

F.Y.I. for all us punters....

Hollywood track closed for training
By JAY PRIVMAN

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Hollywood Park closed its main track for training on Sunday morning following complaints from jockeys on Saturday afternoon that the new Cushion Track surface was uneven in spots, particularly along the backstretch.

As of 7:45 a.m. Pacific time Sunday, there was no word on whether the closure would impact Sunday afternoon's race card, which has a $148,201 pick six carryover.

Heard on a radio show:

Apparently they are working hard to make it safe. One of Pletcher's horses came up lame in the AM and the track was closed at 6:55am.

The problem was occuring yesterday, the jockeys were complaining and did not want to ride the last race. The last race was delayed about 5 minutes while they worked on the track to make it even...

This is my comment: that may have contributed to the $116 winner in the final race which created the carryover.

We'll see how it goes. If they do run, pay attention to the first three races to see if there is any type of bias and adjust your capping for the pick 6 to compensate for it.

Well, we'll have to wait and see if it was a wise call. Hopefully no one gets hurt, human or animal.
