Light schedule tonight and Virginia is on a 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS surge as it aims to stay on track for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Cavaliers (26-2 SU), who have the No. 2 ATS record in the country at 21-7, flattened Pittsburgh 73-49 as 18-point home favorites Saturday.

Syracuse is trying to shore up its March Madness credentials, after losing three of its last five games. The Orange (19-10 SU, 17-12 ATS) got back on track Saturday at Wake Forest, rumbling to a 79-54 victory as 7-point faves.

?Ticket count is 65 percent on Virginia, but money is fairly even,? Bernanke said of pointspread action for this 7 p.m. ET tipoff.

Virginia won its last six games, is 14-2 in ACC, winning its last five road games. Cavaliers are shooting 40.8% on arc in ACC play; how will they do in a dome? Syracuse is 3-4 in its last seven games; they?re 10-6 in ACC, splitting last four home games, with losses to Florida St/Duke. Virginia won five of its last seven games with Syracuse, winning two of three visits here- they won 59-44 here LY. Virginia is 12-2 in its last 14 games as an ACC road favorite, 5-1 this year; last five years, Orange is 5-6-1 as a home underdog, 0-1 this year.

The Cavaliers (9-1 on the road) head to Syracuse tonight to face an Orange team that is 1-10 ATS in its last 11 home games versus a team with a road winning percentage above .600.

Play AGAINST SYRACUSE using in All games in a home game where the first half total is 55.5 to 60.5
The record is 3 Wins and 22 Losses for all times (18.7 units)

Play ON VIRGINIA using ATS in All games in road games
The record is 18 Wins and 3 Losses for the last 2 seasons (14.7 units)

Victory Lane
Virginia defense and the ability to crack attack that Syracuse zone is enough for me to pick the winner.

I'm with Sportsaholic here. I hate the total on this game. I think it's sneaky tight because if you figure, a line of 5-7 points means there could be bullshit fouling late.

Having said that, I'll take Cuse to keep it close, and I'd be way more comfortable with Cuse +7 than I would UVA -7.

If you're putting a gun to my head I take Cuse +7 and under 122.5

I have placed ?IT? on permanent ignore.
It?s time we all get back to sharing information and helping each other best the book.
Ignore the chest beaters and people with ulterior motives.
Cheers!

THIS UVA TEAM IS A. VERY TALENTED AND B. PLAYING WITH A CHIP ON THERE SHOULDER FROM HAVING TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR UNPRESIDENTED AND EMBARRASSING EXIT FROM THE DANCE GOING IN AS ONE OF IF NOT THE FAVORED TO WIN IT ALL. THEY KNOW HOW TO ATTACK THIS ZONE WITH HUNTER FLASHING TO THE MIDDLE AND BOTH JEROME AND GUY HAVE THE ABILITY TO DRIVE AND KICK OUT AS WELL AS KNOCK DOWN THE OUTSIDE SHOT IF THEY ARE THE RECIPIENT OF THE KICK OUT.

MY BIGGEST CONCERN WOULD BE GUY?s SLOPPINESS WITH THE BALL PAST COUPLE OF GAMES THAT LEAD TO UNTYPICAL TURNOVERS AND EASY BASKETS. YOU DO NOT WANT THIS SYRACUSE TEAM TO GET ON A ROLL WITH EASY TRANSITION BASKETS BC THEY CAN FILL IT UP IN A HURRY IF YOU LET THEM FIND THEIR RHYTHM WHICH I FEEL IS UVAs BIGGEST STRENGTH OF BEING ABLE TO DISRUPT THE FLOW OF THE GAME WITH THEIR PRESSURE D AND DELIBERATE HALF COURT OFFENSE.

MY 2 CENTS :0008
