PIRATES/BREWERS Under 8 +100 ? The Pirates are the lowest scoring team in the National League, and they have been even worse on the road, averaging a measly 3.80 runs per road game. At the same time, however, they are only allowing 3.92 runs per game away from home. Not surprisingly, the end result of this has been a record of 29-11 for the Under on the road. Things have not improved for Pittsburgh lately, as they have gone Under in 7 of their last 10 games. Josh Fogg has still managed to go 9-6 despite little run support, thanks to a 3.56 ERA and an outstanding WHIP of 1.16. Fogg has allowed just 2 runs and 9 hits in 13 innings over his last 2 starts, with his last start being against these Brewers. Milwaukee hasn?t exactly scorched the ball at home this year, averaging just 3.90 runs per game in their own ballpark. Sheets? overall numbers are mediocre at best, but he has not started since July 3, and his best efforts this season have come when he has had at least 5 days rest. If we include his first start of the season, Sheets has had 6 starts this year with at least 5 days rest, and he has a 3.05 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP in 47.2 innings over those starts. Also, the Under is 9-1 in his last 10 starts overall. As if all that weren?t enough, 9 of the last 12 head-to-head meetings have gone Under, with an average total score of 7.75 runs per game.
