PIRATES/REDS Under 9 -110 ? Each of the first 2 games of this series have played Under, which is par for the course for these two teams, as the Under is now 7-1 in the last 8 head-to-head meetings. In fact, the Under is now a money generating 25-11 in all Pittsburgh road games this year. Anderson has pitched exceptionally better on the road than at home, as he is 4-2 with an excellent 2.54 ERA away from PNC Park. His last 2 starts against Cincinnati have both been Quality Starts, as he allowed 5 runs on 15 hits in 16 innings over the 2 starts. The Under is 8-4 in all of Anderson?s starts this season, including 5-1 on the road. Haynes has suddenly found his best form, going 3-0 with a 1.86 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP in his last 3 starts. He pitched very well in his first start vs. Pittsburgh this year, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits in 6.1 innings. The Under is 4-1 in all of Haynes? home starts.

I like the over in this game. Anderson has an era of over 8. over his last four starts. I think his away ERA is an aberation. If you look at his away ERA over the last 2 years it is over 6.5. The Reds at home are averaging 5.3 runs/game versus lefties. Haynes career era is 5.40, so you would think in his next couple of games he would revert to his norm. Finally, the umpire on the year is 10-1 to the over.

Anderson's career era versus Cincy is 5.91 and Haynes versus pitt is 5.31

Not a real strong play for me....but just presenting the other side of the argument, hope you don't mind.
