I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts on playing or not playing guys' first starts. I ask because of the starters going today for Seattle (Stark) and Oakland (Hiljus).
How much credibility to give to minor league numbers?
How much weight to the guy's prospects? In other words, a top draft choice's first start, one would perhaps think, might be viewed differently than some journeyman minor leaguer finally getting his shot.
