I must be missing something here. The over seems generous at 8 (even $ at Pinny) Perez , 6.19 ERA and Jennings 8.03 ERA have had a much less than stellar season. Both have been horendous lately, Jennings is over 9.00 & Perez is at 7.00 for their last 3 starts. Neither bullpen is strong. The wind is only at 5 mph from left to right. Last night's game totaled 13.
Granted, Colo doesn't fare well vs LHP and both teams are a bit offense-deprived especially with Colo on the road. But with two struggling starters like this, the 8 seems low to me. No one else seems to be touting this over, either.
So, I am going to bite on it.
Anyone offer any other insight?

You can also get an over 9 at +143 at Pinny, I am mulling that a bit. The negative here is that Pinnacle is at a substantial better price than any of my other outs. And, they are sharp......usually something to be wary about.

If your thinking about over 8-1/2 than the worst you can do with 9 is push. So you might as well take the + and roll with it :mj14:

yea perez comes in this year highly touted after last years 12-10 year 2.99 era, showing nothing at all so far this season 1-4 (8.03 era)6 of his 7 starts have gone over the total,he missed last start with a shoulder problem.here are his scores in his starts,9-2,11-3,8-5,6-4,2-0,8-3, and 8-4.his counterpart jennings mind you some are at coors field,14-6,2-0,8-6,9-1,6-3,8-7,9-5 and 5-4,i am going to stick with my over play, both should get lit up today,i hope.

PITT/COLO O 8 -100 2 units
PITT/COLO O 9 +143 1 unit
SF/OAK O 9 -111 1 unit

Strictly a play on the nunbers, which I do a good amount of. 8 is a very generous number for the current performance of both starting pitchers.
