I love Pitt but not at the Carrier Dome without their quarterback!
Gametime decision as to whether or not Knight will play and thats enough for me to hop on the "Cuse" in this spot.
Knight has been less than 100% with a recurring ankle....re-sprained after stepping on J Pages foot on wed. No practice Thurs. Carl Krauser did a nice job in 15 min vs Gtwn (7 pts 3 assists) He may get his first start tonight.

Pick .....'Cuse -1

URI at St Joseph....Looking for a team who may be heading for a little slump.......ATS (St Joes) off L v GW........I'm pickin URI.........They don't shoot for the % , shot selection isn't the best but they get it off..10 more shots than St Joes in last.
So I'm takin the bad shooters +14 .....who already have a W vs St Joes........Big # for this Atlantic 10 battle.

Pick....URI +14

Kansas State +4.5 0r 5.........perhaps ML
Oklahoma will find they have their hands full today at K St where opp get outscored by 15+......where K ST shoots 50 %, where K ST makes 40% of its 3s, They wont put those numbers up today but Oklahoma will NOT shoot well 40ish on the road 30ish from 3.
Give K ST the boards as well and .......This is a barnburner where K St can win outright.

Salivating over Ivies tonight....Brown and Yale in particular if points are right.

UCONN report to come.......

Like Syracuse too...

Carrier Dome is not shooter friendly to visitors with that stadium background!!!

Maybe an UNDER HERE....teams scored 133 points in PITT.

While PITT is busy staring at # 1, Syracuse will be picking their pockets..

Uconn-9.5

Jim Calhoun does NOT want to run up and down the court with BC! That may be a mistake because he has the thoroughbreds to do so and theyd love it at Gampbel, but that would give Troy Bell, Craig Smith and company.......what they want
Calhoun has all the advantages in this game!
Craig Smith 6 7" 22ppg FROSH..... meet Mr Okafor and Mr Armstrong.(hes much improved at 6 10" and runs well.

Troy Bell .... Bombs away....give ya 20 to 25 but shooting 35% from 3 and 45% for the game....Ya wont have enough firepower

After that......BC does not have shooters (Ryan Sydney <20% from 3 Bryant about 35% and Troy Bell is the only foul shooter on the team at 84% (he does get to the line, however)

Advantages in this game 1. Its at Gampbel Pavillion in Storrs. 2. Big talent advantage to CT. (although they have been inconsistent) 3. CT should SHOOT better, Control the boards, and play MUCH better D than BC (who are prone to giving up the points) 90+ to Nova and 100+ to ND.

Close early ..........then a DD win for CT
