Charlie batch and leftwhich each give a ton of charity and programs to the Pittsburgh community....tomlin absolutely loves both of them, as well as the rooneys....because of that, they didn't cut their "friends"

now, they are stuck with them, and have to deal with not having a capable backup...

surprised more pitt fans aren't upset by this. I have thought about it since the day ben got hurt...

a top 3 organization in the NFL, and your best backups you can find to replace the most important position, are leftwhich and batch????

announcers just said batch hasn't thrown a TD in the NFL in nearly 800 days :142smilie

draft another young guy to learn your system like Washington did with R2D2 and then the kid from Michigan ST cousins



or go get orton/alexsmith or hell call marino I think he was drafted the same year as batch

hwe`s blown a few wide open throws,granted...but all in all he`s doing pretty well...his receivers have hurti him badly a few times in this game....

his o` line is playing lights out,though...

I am sure Pitt will address this at the upcoming draft. Other than that miss to Wallace in the endzone, Batch has played good enough to win. I'm not sure any team has a great backup qb. Thats why they dont start.

what I thought was funny is how Emmanuel sanders dances more then anyone after a catch...why don't players dance when they fumble and drop catches?
