Dallas vs Columbus (+3) 55/50
Still going to try and find some home teams that appear to be in good spots. Away teams are now 19-11 and I hope that will slowly start to even out, especially considering this league's strong home field advantage.
Main reasons I like this play:
*Columbus is coming off a 22 pt loss to the expansion Philly Soul. Nobody wants to be the team that loses the 1st game to an expansion team regardless of how good their roster is. (which brings back memories of another Dallas football team from 2 years ago

*While Dallas is 2-1 and playing well they still give up more pts (158) then they have scored (148). Also they avg. 251 yds to 261 given up. Columbus scores 141 to 158 given up but yardage wise they avg. 273 to 267 given up. So no big edge their to Dallas as far as I can see.
*Dallas is playing back to back road games and are off an upset of New York.
Main concerns are:
*Dallas is -5 in turnover margin. Any team that is 2-1 w/ -5 in TO margin and give up a little bit more yds than their opponents are doing something right. If Dallas evens or is in the plus in turnovers today then I will be very worried.
*Columbus might have a bit of a QB controversy as the starter had to be replaced last week and the replacement did not play so well either.
Bottom line is while Dallas is playing well I don't think they should be laying pts on the road here. I thought this game would be between Columbus -3 to a pick, so getting 3 pts is nice. There is a strong fan support for this Columbus team and I think they get the job done today.
