poor boys in blue. little league baserunning. would have lost the game anyway because their middle relief is garbage, but man was that embarassing.

i saw a dodger logo and a padre logo so why not add a mets one........man if only detroit can hold on today and make it a series would be great....actually wanted to get your guys take on the 2 series for gambling and fan purposes both......re: mets dodgers, bdb how is this guy kho (sp?)? mets NEED this one to avoid having to win one in LA as they are badly outpiched out there, dodgers have a tough lineup, i like furcal, how do you see tonight going? I am biased but see mets winning a 5-3 type game with a good 6 innings of glavine but i dont know the dodger pitcher well, very well might be a 5 game series if you guys win tonight......
re:padres, looking at the under foir 15 mins from now......piazza is sitting, wells is money in the post season, cards may be on cruise control off a win, my worry is weaver though as he is always iffy in big spots, what do you think socalyo about the side and total? obviously if sd loses today series looks bleak, todays a big game may take a flyer at the under or san diego, good luck as i hate the cards

Kuo has looked great as a starter. His problem came in relief. The true test for any pitcher is the second time he sees a team. He pitched 6 innings of no run 3 hit baseball against the muts earlier this month in shea. will he do it again, or will the mets batters adjust. my guess is that they will adjust, but i'm always pessimistic about the boys in blue.

his 5 starts are:

at mets: 6 innings no er. dodgers win 4-0

at cubs: 6 innings 2 er. dodgers bullpen loses

pitt: 5.1 innings 5 er. he got shelled. dodgers lose

ari: 7 innings no er. dodgers win

at sfo: 5 innings 3 er.

my take is that he has the stuff to keep them in the game, but you can't guess what teams will do the second time around. he could pitch a gem or get shelled. no value either way in my opinion. totally up in the air. i expect glavine to pitch well and maybe at the most give up 2 or 3. time will tell.

as for furcal, he's definitely the dodgers mvp. didn't get a hit for the first two months basically and ended up .300 with 15 or so homers and over 60 rbis for a lead off guy. solid as they come at ss.

need a rally for the yankees, and one of the major reasons i played the padres is because piazza is sitting. hope that helps.

wow, big win win by the tigers......do you ever do much on wsex interactive trading, sounds like itd be up your alley? although that $5 buy/sell gap hurts it is good if you have the instincs, it has burned me and helped me in the past but it's thrilling for sure.....i think your analysis on the mets-la is pretty right on, i do remember kuo silencing the mets last month bui the mets had their divisoion basically clinched by then and werent really "up" for the game, not an excuse but might be a factor.........i'm not gonna bet the game, and watch as a fan, should be fun, i see a 5-3 type met win, but again i dont know how theyll hit Kuo so hard to say.... yeah piazza's d kills them and his bat is getting tired but hes still pretty good, i just think wells pitches a bigtime game today, good luck bro
