Looks like 3 easy sides for me today.
Braves +110
This play looks golden. Clemens is ussually overvalued by the public, and today he may not be at 100%. We know the troubles he's had in the playoffs and today he goes against an underrated pitcher who has better numbers than clemens over the last 3 starts and in the head to head matchups. The stros are overvalued by the public because everyone has been wrappep up in the NL wildcard race recently while everyone is tired of seeing ATL stroll into the playoffs yet again. Houston's bats are no better than the undervalued Braves lineup this year and both teams have been hitting well over the past week. Killer Bs choke in playoffs and have been knocked out by Braves before. Home field has to count for something. Wrong team is favored here.
Yanks -180
I've noticed several people jumping on the Minny bandwagon. Why? There is no comparison between the lineups. Does Radke have an edge over Leiber? No. Leiber will not be nervous in this spot. He is a veteran pitching with the home crowd behind him and nobody is asking him to win this game by himself. If anyone is nervous, its radke because the Yanks have owned him. Throw in home field and the Yanks have value up to -200.
Yankees win in this spot 2 out of 3 times easy.
Angels +115
I can't believe Pedro is laying chalk on the road against a team as hot as the Angels. Like the Yanks the Angels have a must win at home and they should get it done easily behind Colon, a very hot pitcher with a very good bullpen to finish the job. Angels would have been right in the game yesterday if not for the costly errors leading to big inning. Wrong team favored.
