In other words, roughly 90 percent of teams who begin the season 0-2 will fail to make the postseason. There is only room for one such team to crawl their way back into the playoffs each year, and even that is no guarantee. 0-2 may not sound like the end of your season, but the past decade suggests it is an unlikely hole to climb out of.
