Knicks have won the last 2 home games (2001 & 2002) vs Portland and 3 out of the last 5 overall. Both teams are playing some great basketball. Knicks beat the Pacers fri nite despite a bad shooting nite by A. Houston so I expect him to contribute more tonite. Knicks are also hitting 41.9% from 3pt land compared to 28.3% for Portland. Defensive 3pt% in the last 5 also favors the Knicks. It is worrisome that Portland is 12-5 ATS in road games but Knicks have played well vs them the last 3 yrs. That coupled with their great play of late makes them an attractive home dog to me.
Might have one more play but wanted to post this as soon as I made the play. On a side note has anyone noticed a few mistakes at some information sites out there today? Nothing major but at one site they show what Sacramento's record off an upset win as a dog is but they won as a fav last nite. Another site said that the Clippers beat Houston last nite but that was the Warriors. Even one of my books has a writeup on the CLE/PIT game and a picture of Pittsburgh WR Larry Fitzgerald..who plays for Pittsburgh university. Again nothing major but and there are always mistakes just seems like more than usual today. Hope my play here isnt a mistake. GL to all today!
