Doubtful Rodrigo will pitch as well vs Boston as he did last year. However those #'s are most impressive and think he will pitch well enough to get a win. A few Orioles hit Wakefield well (Batista .282 in 39 ab, Cordova .318 in 22 ab, Mora .385 in 13ab and Segui, who is back in the lineup .400 in 15 ab). Baltimore bullpen is clearly better but I do worry that the starters have not given them alot of innings of late. But Boston hitting just .211 vs rightys and Baltimore hitting .262 vs rightys.

CLE +120 over KC 100/120

Hate to ask a pitcher like Jake Westbrook to end the Royals perfect start but this is mostly a play against Darrell. Indians were 3-1 in May's starts vs them last yr and May has a 5.34ERA in 30 IP vs Cleveland. Indians hit lefties much better last yr and this yr so far the same is holding true early in this season.

TEX +120 over SEA 50/60

Wanted to make sure Everett was starting today as he is batting .389 vs Garcia in his career. Difficult to back Park the way he pitched in his 1st game but Garcia did not pitch very good either and has a 4.76 era vs Texas. Also Park has been a much better home pitcher in his career. Hard to believe Park has only given up 2 HRs in 155 AB for Seattle hitters against him. He is 1-1 with a 2.21 era vs Seattle. However the majority of those innings were in September, which was the one month last yr Park actually pitched great. Texas hitting .272 so far to Seattles .239. Playing this one small.

SD +140 over LA 100/140

As long as neither team is scoring much I will gladly back the home team as a dog. Dodgers are hitting .205 vs rightys and Pads are hitting .263 vs lefties, which Odalis is. Pads bullpen playing better of late as they are shorthanded w/o Hoffman and Witasick. Villafuerte got the day off yesterday so he is available today. Eaton has decent #'s vs LA in not many innings and especially vs S. Green who has a .063 avg in 16 at bats.
