SD +200 over SF 100/200

I think this is a good spot for SF to lose their 1st game. Pads have been slowly improving their batting avg and the short-handed bullpen pitched very well in the last series w/ LA. Like the fact they came back late to tie SF yesterday. Moss is a good pitcher but struggles with too many walks. Padres have been one of the most patient hitting teams the last 2 yrs. Moss did issue 6 walks last week vs SD and think they will take advantage tonite. Peavy pitched well last time out and think he gets the win tonite.

Have leans to FLA +135 and over 8.5

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated. I should add one or 2 later. gl to all today!

thanks slvrblet, gl to you today!

adding:

FLA +135 over NYM 100/135

Leiter does have ok overall #'s vs FLA but not great by any means(Lee and Castillo especially have great career #'s vs him)...FLA hitting .290 to Mets .236...FLA led league in stolen bases last yr, already w/ 11 stolen bases this yr. They shouldn't have a problem running w/ Piazza behind the plate..Mets never batted against Redman so he may have the advantage. Love the fact he is a lefty, which Mets seem to struggle against. Big worry for me is C. Floyd playing against his old team and FLA's bullpen ERA, which is 3rd worst in the league. Still think the home dog is worth a shot.

cooz,

Padres were down 4-0 after 3. Scored 1 in the 6th and 3 in the 8th to tie it. SF scored 3 in the bottom of the 8th and ended it. Always like backing teams who fought back only to lose anyway. Also edited my thread to as it incorrectly showed 0-2 -250 and should have been 0-3 -250. haven't lost 250 on only 2 games since i used to bet favorites alot.

thats interesting....2 games this year had teams come back from 4 runs or down to tie and take the lead then eventually lose...

Baltimore vs. boston...next day win
Cubs vs .cinci...next day win

lets hope this little trend continues
