Devils/Bruins - Snoozefest in every way from what I watched......these 2 teams played a 1-2-2 and didnt take any offensive chances......they both imposed their will on each other.....Bruins prevailed.

Leafs/Sabres - Nice win by the Leafs. They used their speed tonight and got solid goaltending, something they sorely needed. Getting the late OT goal was icing on the cake for the Leafs.......they needed this win badly. Very few penalties in this game.....so special teams never really factored in.

NYR/Philly - Great PK by the Rangers and they dominated the faceoff circle. Found that the Flyers were chasing the puck all night long.....not steady puck control in the offensive zone.

Habs/Jets - Habs PP has really propelled them so far this year, 2 more PP against the Jets. But their defense is quite soft and will be a problem for them when they play teams with bigger forwards.

Sens/Caps - I have said it a few times already in this forum, but the Caps played not to lose hockey.......inexcusable by HC Oates.......who seems outmatched every night. Anderson stole this game for Ottawa in the first 2 period when Ottawa crapped the bed and went through the motions. Ovechkin......was a total nonfactor all night, only time I noticed him was when he accidentally slid into Anderson. No joke!

NYI/Pitt - I have said it a few times and I will say it again......this Isles team will surprise......they are playing bigger than ever due to the added toughness on their roster. Teams will take them lightly......nobody is going to run over this team. Nabokov played very well for the Isles, but Pens were flat too. Fleury was yanked after the 2nd period and Vokoun played the 3rd for the Pens in goal.

Panthers/TB - Panthers are awful......Kovalev and Huberdeau are non-existent, no shots on goal again for AK and another minus for him! Weiss and Versteeg out for the Panthers, two thirds of their top line.....TB is getting production from all 4 lines and the Conacher kid is for real, scored his 3rd! TB aint playing defensive hockey, they are lighting it up!

Stars/Wings - Detroit played a complete game......start to finish for the first time this year....and really wore out the Stars. Wings young defense played quite well and the big guns scored when needed.

Jackets/Wild - Minny almost got caught looking ahead to the Hawks. Jackets were given all 4 PP in the 3rd period and almost pulled it out. Bouchard also had a penalty shot after scoring prior to that but whiffed on the PS.

Ducks/Sharks - I only watched the first 2 periods. Just bagged from watching so much hockey tonight. Ducks have really imposed the physical aspect of the game on the Sharks in the 2nd period.......their cycle in the offensive zone has led to both goals and the Sharks......if they have a weakness is not having enough size on the back end to combat the big Ducks forwards. Ducks at this point of the game, entering the 3rd period are outshooting the Sharks badly........and outplaying them!

"Peter Budaj will have his first start this season vs Senators" @RenLavoieRDS

I was looking at the Habs but now.......not sooo sure with Price not starting.

One other note.......Callahan of the Rangers went down hard on one of his shoulders in a fight against Talbot.......it didnt look good. I would be surprised if he isnt out for awhile.......this would really hurt the Rangers!

Habs - ML(+140) for 1 Unit
Sens had no business winning last night, they looked horrible for most of the game. Now they are playing their 5th game in 7 nights, just a terrible spot and the depth up the middle showed without Spezza who is out again tonight. Tempted to play this dog bigger, but wont as I got burned last night with the Ducks on a horrible last minute goal.
