Gotta love interleague
Seattle Mariners -160
Want to hear a messed up stat..Cliff Lee's ERA is 2.08, and the run support that he's got from the Seattle Mariners this year is also 2.08.
Now mix in facing a middle of the road national league pither and some last licks, hey maybe that come from behind win yesterday led by Griffey will put this team on a little win streak.. if the M's cant pick up a win for Lee here i'd be very surprised
Tampa Bay Rays -173
I'd be really surprised if Matt Garza doesnt get the W vs the worst-hitting team in the National League. The Houston Astros rank at the bottom of nearly every offensive category.
Toronto Blue Jays + 156
Honestly, from here on out, I might bet on the Blue Jays everytime they face a righty... and then fade them every time they faces lefties..ha ha...Even it is just for action I bet that would make money in the long run..at least this season.
Hopefully this guy will be the next righty to get hit hard by the Blue Jays...Dan Haren..not only has he given up 10 runs in his last 10.2 innings he has a 5.77 lERA against the Toronto Blue Jays lifetime..
Side note..Brandon Morrow lives in Arizona..is fully capable of shutting down an offense..(he let up only 3 hits in six innings vs the Rays) and I think he leads Jays to victory today.
Minnesota -153
Dave Bush is 1-5 for his career against the Minnesota Twins with a 4.38 ERA.
And Blackburn has looked real good lately, in his past 23 innings he has let up 6 runs in 3 games and 2 of which came against the heavy hitting yankees and tigers, o.k. brewers pack a punch but even if blackburn gets touched up a little bit..
I doubt it will be as bad as Bush's recieves it. Maybe the over is better for some of you afraid to lay the juice...10 is a lot though..but is a total that seems to trend to the over.
Under 8 Angels/Cardinals
Got a real good making of a pitchers' duel here in St. Louis as Joel Pineiro faces his former team, one which he has a 1.13 ERA against.
He'll face Brad Penny, who, despite an 0-4 record over the past three weeks, has only a 1.35 ERA at home for the season.
Kansas City Royals +100
Brian Bannister has a 2.25 ERA against the Colorado Rockies. ... Jason Hammel allowed four runs in eight-plus innings the last time he faced the Kansas City Royals, and he was completely healthy then
