Fantasy Help!!!

I know this should be in the Pro Forum, but not alot of traffic over there...Please help!!!


I have been offered Edge and Marvin Harrison for A. Peterson and Patrick Crayton. Looking at the matchups coming up for the rest of the season, I think Edge and Marvin is the better way to go. I need many opinions PLEASE!!!!

Well, I certainly hope that he goes off again and again, but BOL to you whatever you decide. LOL :)

You're probably right about him not having another game like that again, but I'll be starting him this week along with Gore with Portis riding the pine?!?!? :scared

It is a tempting trade, However! I was looking back at some old fantasy trends and Adrian Peterson most reminds me of Terrell Davis, and to be more specific, his season reminds me of the 1998 Terrell Davis year. Beware trades that come with big names like Harrison and Edge. The guy offering has probably considered that if Edge aves. 80yds per game and 1 td and Harrison his usual 75yds. and 1 td against the advantage of say AP. Therefore, during Terrell Davis record breaking 1998 season he had 2nd week, 191 yds- 4th week 119 yds - 5th week 168 yds., 6th week-208 yds (how familiar?) 8th week 136 yds, 9th week 149 yds, 11th week 111 yds., 12th week (getting closer to fantasy playoffs which is big) 162 yds, 15th week 147 yds., 17th week (finale) 178 yds. This season is shaping up like his season. He is in a show what of a time share with Taylor, but it wont last. Who in their right mind can keep this kid off the field? And Childress knows it, that is why he put him back on the final kickoff return as well. He knows this kid is the real deal, unless he gets hurt, he has a shot at a HUGE season and remember in fantasy if you play for consistent week to week 70 yds and 1 td, you lose. There are too many big weeks for other players, you must keep AP and pray that he is going to carry his team, especially when they need him in the final weeks of the season. I dont know if the Vikes are a playoff team, but if they are AP will be a huge part of that run.

Take the trade, I responed to your other post, but, you don't have to think about what they'll do next year, this year, these two are money in this trade. Take it. Don't ask questions, They'll get your more points and you'll thank me at the end of the season. I'm in 1st in my league and have Edge, Harrison will only make you feel better week in and out out. i can't imagine anyone turning down this trade. Accept and love it when you are getting the points every week!!!

AP was the real deal three weeks ago and he is today! Damn 3td's and single season record broken! I hate to say I told you so but :nono:
