Some things I look for in NCAA Foots:
1- Lower ranked/unranked team favored over higher ranked team (ex. Texas A&M -3 last weekend)
2- Top 25 team losing in an upset and favored by 28 or more the next week (bounce back factor)
3- "Sandwich" games- when a good team coming off of a good win has an easy game and then a big opponent the next week
4- always consider backwards money- when the public is 70% on one side and the line moves wrong direction especially off of or across a key number (3, 7, 10, 14, etc.)

NFL
1- backwards money
2- I always look at previous weeks results and look for cases when a team coming off of a blowout win is playing a team with a blowout loss (the thought here is the public has a short memory and causes inflated spreads) so I take the team coming off the loss with the points of even money line if its 3-6 pts

no team is as good as they look in week one, and no team is as bad as they look in week one. Public always take the teams that look good and against teams that look bad. Value comes with the teams who played bad on the road but will play much better at home even against a better team.

Very true!! How may times do you take a team they have a terrible loss then the following week you hate that team so much you go against them because they dicked you the previous week then they come out and play like champions!! Most of the time gotta forget the previous week
