POD BOYZ play of day Thursday April 30

Good Morning, BoyZ .. chose a loser on Humpday, Pendleton who raced wide around the small track
and had no punch for the drive .. GOOD LUCK THURSDAY, BOYZ !!!
Another extremely difficult Race 8 Oaklawn Park, loaded with Graded & Stakes winners .. you know
I always love Baffert trained horses, & he's got one in here #7 Fighting Mad making her 4YO debut
but has been gone since Aug.17th last year at Dmr winning the Grade 3 TerryPine by 8 lengths & is
rated 126 early speed by Timeform .. plenty of early speed in this race, #8 Blamed, Bill Mott trained
Talamo aboard & 2 for 2 this distance Graded Stakes multiple winner 119 early pace Timeform, plus
#4 Letruska, the Mexican speed demon who has won 8 of 9 lifetime races & has a race over the track
with a 94 Beyer & rated 117 early pace by Timeform, so plenty of early speed to set up a speed duel.
Going to take a shot with the rail horse #1 VAULT who is not quite as classy as a lot of these, but
finished off her 3YO campaign with three straight easy wins, one by 10 lengths with an 87 Beyer,
then one by 5' lengths with an 89 Beyer, then her final race last Nov. by 3' lengths w/ a 91 Beyer.
She hasn't raced since Nov. but has a very nice best of 63 work at Keeneland 4f 46.3 breezing to
show at 4 years old she may be able to get out of the gate quickly along the rail to rate behind all
these front runners, and hopefully with a ground saving trip and some luck to find openings to move
up, she will be able to close late and at least get in the money or win .. she is 7/2 morning line, so
I always struggle on "how" to play it .. back in awhile.
Just noticed Baffert's horse Fighting Mad is scratched which kind of ruins my whole plan of a speed duel.
Maybe there still will be enough early pace to help the #1 Vault, we'll see.
