POD BOYZ PLAY OF DAY WEDNESDAY February 27

The Villanova Wildcats are at home to take on Marquette at 9:00 pm eastern. Cats are-3.5/143 presently. The Wildcats have dropped 4 of 5 and it?s been widely chronicled that their Seniors: Booth and Paschall are exhausted as they have played way too many minutes so far. It was quite evident vs Xavier as no one scored for them in 9 minutes in the second half. Booth scored just 2 in that half.
Marquette has won 12 of 13 and are clicking on all 8 cylinders. A few weeks ago when these two played, the Marquette superstar, Markus Howard, bailed them out for a 1 point win. In that game, Marquette double teamed any Wildcat that had the ball outside the 3 point mark. Nova shut down Theo John and the Hauser brothers, but poor shooting, questionable ref calls and blowing the final possession did them in.
Look for Marquette to start with the double teaming but Nova will have an answer for that so it will last until the first time out. The crowd will be nuts; it?s Senior night and Nova will certainly give it all they have. Will it be enough?
Eventually, the Cats will hit 3?s. It may be tonight but I just can?t bet on it. Believe me, if I lose this bet, it won?t bother me at all, but Marquette +3.5 is my play.
