Good morning breakfast clubbers, good morning to ya .. think Philly finishes it off, today .. Little Roy
hasn't had his best year (3.69) in his career, but he still
has an ERA as good or a tad better than all four
starters on Wednesday, and he is (5-0) w/ 3.25 ERA in 10 career postseason starts, & is (2-1) in his L3 overall starts this season, one on which is
a 9-2 win over StL, in which he pitched seven scoreless innings, and he has a 0.87 ERA in his
L3 starts, so that is my POD, boys! : )

The late game tonight is very interesting .. line shows it as a tossup, and I can see why. Both Randy Wolf and Joe Saunders have identical overall ERA's TY at 3.69, and both MILW & AZ
have identical .500 records vs LH-starters TY at
(18-18) & (24-24) respectively. But, each team has some advantages over the other. MILW is
(39-43) ROAD TY compared to AZ (52-30) HOME TY .. vs LH-starters, MILW is (7-10) ROAD TY &
AZ is (14-11) HOME TY .. so, advantage AZ in those stats. WOLF has a 4.64 ERA vs AZ & SAUNDERS has a 5.68 ERA vs MILW, although
Saunders has a slighty lower WHIP & BAA ...
WOLF has 3.81 ROAD ERA TY compared to
SAUNDERS 4.42 HOME ERA TY .. so, advantage
MILW w/ those stats .. pitchers LG vs tonights'
opposition is also pretty equal at 2.45 to 2.57 ...
I think DRECKMAN will be calling balls and strikes,
and recently has favored the OVER at 17-12 TY
and the hometeam .. so, you can see why this is
such a tough game to cap and why it has been
lined a tossup .. personally, I am leaning toward
the hometeam, tonight .. the SNAKES really relished being back home in the desert, and their
bats came alive last night .. this could carry-over
to tonight .. hope this might have helped someone. : )

pouring-down rain .. wow, beautiful stuff .. it usually is so hot here, that the cool weather and
rain feels wonderful !!!! I've got to have a parlay
going to root for some runs .. most love the OVERS, and I am basically like most, so here goes

As an FYI, the POD Boyz migrated from Sportslynx to here as it's owner shut it down. Many of us have been posting there since 1998 (it was Inetcappers back then)

I'm here, ahhhhhhhh!! I like our new home fellas. Thanks to CEW for everything the last few years and thanks to Madjack sports for letting us nestle in. Now down to bizness. Saunders home ERA this year is over 4.50. Brewers not liking getting shut down last night. Brewers bats ROCK!!

Bad day at black rock for watashi .. I went from
wasabi to watermelon .. boy, Howard doesn't have a clue up at bat, right now .. St Louis deserved the win, though .. they played smarter and took advantages of their opportunities and the Phillies didn't .. difference in the game IMO
was the bottom of the fourth when Oswalt walked the leadoff hitter and brushed Holidays
arm with a pitch to put two on and no outs ..
Cardinals got those two runners across the plate,
and the Phillies made baserunning mistakes with
their chances .. hate to lose, but I am still (2-1) in
POD TW and (5-1) LW .. hell, (7-2) ain't too shabby. : ) C'mon BoyZ .. win this last one!
