Thanks for setting up thread. Went for margaritas after game and I was over served.

Phoenix is pretty nice. Very clean. Nice weather atbthe moment. Staying at a hotel about 3 blocks from the US Airways Arena. More than enough watering holes between the hotel and the Arena.

Since I had a horrendous betting night, my demeanor is less than rosy atbthe moment. However, thought I would rate a few key components of any college Tourney: cheerleaders, fans and band.

Got to see the Louisville Cheerleaders up close at the Arrogant Butcher. For the second game, we moved up and sat close to the court. So, had a pretty good experience to make these ratings. In order top to first:

Cheerleaders: Louisville, Florida, Michigan St, Marquette. In the words of one of my friends, Louisville wins the award for tightest buns on their Cheerleaders. The Florida girls were cute but had attitudes. Sparty had a lot of energy with theirs. And for Marquette...oh well.

Fans: Michigan St, Louisville, Marquette, Florida. Sparty had the most and loudest in support of their team. Louisville right behind. Marquette had a vocal crew and the Gators I think were hoping Tim Tebow would show up.

Bands: tough call. Have to go Michigan State, Marquette , Louisville , Florida. For quality and volume Sparty ruled. Marquette had the best song selections ( Led Zeppelin songs as an example), Louisville is third by default as the Gators songs and volume were the poorest.

Today, who knows what we will do. Maybe catch a Spring Training game.
