*-Nice win yesterday w/the Athletcis +180 so I will try another "Hot Dog" today. Really like this youngster Scott Diamond(Nice last name for a baseball player). He has yet to give up a run in his first 2 starts & is facing a Brewers club that has had trouble scoring as of late. The Twins are not a good team(they are on a modest 2 game winning streak:lol
but have given this kid run support scoring 4 & 5 runs in his starts. Marco Estrada has been hit hard his last 3 outings giving up 20 hits(6 Homers) & 12 runs. Brew Crew bat's not helping him much scoring only 5 runs in that span. Although Milwaukee has won all 6 games in this Interleauge series @ Miller Park the last couple of seasons, I think the Twins win today.:yup

Lost confidence after that ninth inning meltdown, yesterday. Guess I should come right back with the Phillies to get the bitter taste out of my mouth .. don't want to get near the pen though, so I guess I shoot at the first five innings .. if I wasn't so damn slow, I might have got it under our limit, but I'll have to lay the - 1/2 run, as the Phillies are getting pounded early this morning. I am sure that is because of COLE HAMELS (5-1; 2.28) who has won 5 straight, and the Phillies have won 6 straight with him at the helm, and he has a 1.93 ERA in those six starts. Cole is (3-0) w/ 1.44 ERA in four career starts vs the Red Sox, and is (2-1) @ Home TY w/ 2.79 Home ERA and 1.19 Home Whip, while Bard has a 5.49 Road ERA & 1.37 Road Whip. If the Phillies are patient at bat, they may be able to set the table early, as Bard has been struggling with his control, walking four batters in each of his last two starts. HAMELS has permitted two runners or less in each of his L6 starts, pitching six to eight innings in each. Phillies are (7-1) in their L8 IL Home games vs RH-starters.
EDWIN JACKSON is (5-0) w/ 2.68 ERA in his L8 outings vs the O'S, and Arrieta in 8 IP vs the Nats has surrendered 12 runs.
JUSTIN VERLANDER (4-1; 2.47) is (15-2) w/ 2.94 ERA in 20 starts vs N.L. opponents, going (3-0) w/ 0.75 ERA in four IL outings LY.

Without marking your post as a "POD", it will not be counted. And, be sure to name your pitcher or pitchers if you are LISTING them, or just put "ACTION" if you do NOT care which pitchers start the game.
