The CAL BEARS are in the driver's seat in the PAC-12, being tied for first place with Washington and owning the tie-breaker over them. CAL has really begun to gel as a unit, and this one versus Utah seems like a complete mismatch with CAL (22-6) TY and Utah just (5-21). CAL beat the Utes in January by 36 pts @ Berkeley, and should have no trouble covering the spread and especially the teased spread. They own a big advantage over the Utes in PPG, FG%, FT%, defense, rebounding, turnovers, & bench strength. Utah has lost seven straight, scoring 52 pts or fewer four times in that stretch and less than 70 pts in 15 consecutive games. The Utes just don't have the talent this year to compete in the PAC-12

DAVIDSON is (20-7) TY & (12-2) at Home and have the advantage over Elon in PPG, FG%, FT%, defense, rebounding, turnovers, & bench strength. At home, the CATS are averaging 81.2 ppg and allowing opponents just 66.0 ppg, and the Phoenix are averaging just 64.6 ppg on the road. DAVIDSON is coming off a rare home loss, losing to Wichita .. think that will just help them to focus on tonight's opponent!
