Like the fact that Pinkston has stepped-up to give Nova more options than just Wayns and that they are doing well on the boards. What worries me is that the young Cats still are turning the ball over too much and that the Cardinals are fourth in the nation in steals and sixth in the nation in field goal defense. Can they pull this off?

Cards are up and down shooting the rock. What worked last game was their 4 guard offense but that takes away from their rebounding capability which is bad to begin with. Nova is improving and can spring the upset, but unless the Cards shoot under 40%, it is unlikely that they win at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.

Nova Report

Cats march down to Louisville after winning two straight Big East games. The Cards looked good at Pitt last out but have lost 5 of 8 and are 3-4 in the Big East despite being ranked 25th.

Kyle Kuric is their man who can hurt you inside and from 3 point range. Dieng is their glass cleaner at 9.4 Boards per game. Their Guards, both named Smith, throw in 18 between them. Behanan is their young developing star who also chips in 9 per game.

Overall, Louisville plays great defense, takes
care of the ball but can get beat off the glass and can have lapses of throwing up nothing but bricks.

Nova has come alive ever since the Seton Hall game though they did make the Red Storm's Harrison and Harkless look like LeBron and D.Wade due to terrible defense.

Wayns won Big East Player of the week and
Pinkston won Freshman of the Week as both have been monsters lately. Cheek had more charges than the Light Brigade last out and Bell regained some confidence but Mouph was nowhere to be found offensively.

Very tough game to figure out other than Nova getting+8.5 seems pretty good. But, my job is to make a prediction. Here it is: Louisville 67 Nova 63

Just causght a nice EXACTA (7-6) in RACE 8 AQ .. waiting on prices .. think seventy something .. actually had wheeled the #6 American Buffalo, but had multiples boxed with the #7 which was seven to one .. was going to post this morning, but there were two scratches in a seven horse field, cutting it down to five horses, so I thought it would not be a good one to post .. well, maybe I got lucky, because I did NOT post it .. got really lucky in the race, because the six was passed by a couple of horses and still came back to run second .. was switching from turf to dirt and wasn't sure how he would react to getting dirt kicked in his face for the first time .. exacta paid $69.50 .. wow, this is good !!!
