First, Carl Pavano has pitched well this season but against mostly mediocre competition. He is due to get lit up, and who better than the Jays to do it...they crush right-handers, their .507 slugging percentage leads the majors by 51 points!!!
Second, We all know Twins big hitters are lefties and Marcum has been a terror to lefties this season, limiting them to a .153 AVG/.197 OBP/.216 SLG line in 111 at-bats.
Icing on the cake,
Heard a rumor that Mauer is out today.
Vernon Wells crushes Pavano- He's 7-for-18 (.389) with three homers lifetime.
Twins are 3-9 in the last 12 meetings in Toronto.
Twins are 4-14 in the last 18 meetings.
