poker hand analysis

I by no means consider myself a great poker player.

I am probably below average, just picking up the game.

anyway, always looking for insight.

The hand below was on a $1/$2 table(6 max)

I had straight flush on the flop :scared :scared


I was short stacked and I go by lawspen

Could I have made more, bet differently with only three players in hand. Players weren't really tight or loose, everyone playing a decent number of hands.

yea... don't just call his re-raise at the end!

pop him back! yer on a freeroll mentality there. If he calls.. great... if he folds? you had him beat anyway.

it looks like a stars history, so all he can do is call at the end. went the max bets allowed on their site.


nothing wrong with the way you played it, but personally, i would have bet the flop. then went for the check raise on the turn. then led out on the river. but that's just me, and not sure how that would have worked at 1/2, but i'm guessing that line would have gotten you two extra bb's. but again thats speculation.
