Trying to settle an argument. Was in a friendly 7 straight poker game on the weekend, $1-$5, 3 bumps etc. Question is, $5 was bet, the next guy raised it $1 to make it $6. Without getting into a longwinded story, shouldn't the guy that raised it $1 have to raise it $5 to make it $10. Thanks....

No not where I play if u are playing on a one to five table, that means u can bet 1 to 5 at any time, even on a reraise. Quite different from limit holdem like 2, 4 table where it is 2 bet on the turn and 4 on each bet afterwards.
