I know it was a verrrry tough weekend for most of us and there are Lots of sad stories today ... (and I'm not even talkin about 'da Bears who will lose again next week to NYG)
I just want to vent my sh_t so if ur tired of reading the unhappy crap you can stop here, sorry to waste your time...
The rest of you that want to hear another sad story, please read on...

Tough enough watching my favorite team (Chargers) give up a backdoor cover (on my largest single gm wager ever) to an average Browns team that could not throw down the field except for 1 play in 1st qtr.. after finally getting ahead by 14 for a cover SD goes to the infamous "PREVENT" Defense and allows them to make 6-12 yard plays 80 yards down the field to score and totally ream my moon1

Then I get to listen to Al Michaels/Madden talk about the wonderful Adam (hasn't missed all year/has made 20 consecutive fg's in 4th qtr or overtime) Vinatieri miss 2 2nd half fg's and the Pats guy misses another... 3 misses and it stays under by 1pt!!!:com: :com: :com:

The game lands on 47...
I've got Over 48 straight plays and as the only remaining play in parlays w/Colts ml, SoMiss over, all three together... SHEEESH!!

Instead of $1400 in winning pars, its -$150...

Other pars I had Colts/Over/SMissOV/Chargers
Instead of $1600 winners, its another -$170 losses

If you give me a Chargers cover and Colts Over it's winning over 3K in parlays and $2500 w/Chargers!!plus another $2500 I wouldn't have lost so about a $8000 swing... I know some of you guys play for alot more $$ but its plenty big enough for me to bitch...
Instead I lose about 2k (thanks to SMiss OV /Colts ml and a tease w/colts/Over) BUT C'MON!! At least the Colts shoulda gone over :wtf: :mj02: :142crying

oh well... Sports History... thats a cookie crumbling for ya... etc... blah blah...yada yada yada...

ok thanks I'm done... I just had to let it out... I think I really DO feel a small amount better now!!!
Better luck to all!

Let it out big guy , we will rub your back. This in my opinion as stated earlier was Black Sunday, except for those who practice monet mgmt, and stay away from the "Easy" teasers etc. I shit the bed early, but fortunately pounded the 69'ers and colts. Worked out today, but in the long run losing $840 min teasers(thanks Rex and Chicago Offensive line) and throwing two huge hail-marys for a profit , will enable me to retire at the age of 105. Again, todays an unfortunate reminder why the vets of the board practice money mgmt and place straight wagers. (Perhaps i will heed my own advice: (my advice to all two handed loser tonight)

I had a good day overall yesterday. I'm usually MUCH better on college. I make money on Sat's only to give back some of it on Sun. Then I give the rest back Mon night...

I made money for the weekend, but missed out on a LOT of $$$$.

USC kills me on a huge teaser. Block a FG and run it back. Then on 4th and 4 they go for it and score. A FG and I would have won.

NCState Under cost me over $1,000. State's offense did almost nothing, but INT ret. for TD, KO ret for TD, and INT ret set up FG. Brutal...

Yesterday missed another parlay. Would have been about $1,200. I needed 1/2 pt more in Rams game but 2 false starts and off INT killed Rams tying drive. I also needed Packers to win. 1st and goal from the 1. Lets pass. Packers dominate, give up that pick, a pick-six, and somehow don't score in red zone right before half.

I should have bought the 1/2 pt on the Rams game, but Packers should have easily won.

Oh, what could have been. Still, I won about $150 for the weekend.

I feel you though, been there before.
