A rare play against Dallas for me today, but the Mavs get their first test of the season tonight at home against the Jeckel-and-Hyde Blazers who just came off a convincing victory in San Antonio. The line is set about right at 8 considering how well Dallas has played of late. But this line is set for betters who've been mesmerized by the Mavs recent success over roach teams. If there's a team out there that can slow this running machine down, it's the Blazers. They do have the athletes to match up well with Dallas and I'm counting on them to show up tonight.

If Portland stays competive, which I predict, then the game goes under.

Pick: Portland +8
Pick: Port/Dal UNDER 194.5

Best of luck

With Van Exel out of the line up (arthroscopic knee surgery), I am upgrading Portland to 2 units. The third point guard for Dallas is 80-year old Avery Johnson. Nash can not play the entire game. Also, I see Dallas center S. Bradley getting in foul trouble early. Who's behind him? Nobody! Both Lefrentz and Eschmeyer are out.

Just my take...

Best of luck

Reversing the bets...

Cancelling Dallas UNDER and Portland +8.

Van Excel out for Dallas and Bonzi Wells out for Portland. Have to cap this game differently.

New plays...

Pick: 1H Dallas -5
Pick: 1H Dallas OVER 97
Pick: Dallas OVER 193.5

Cryboy, lots of game left so anything can happen, but you should always trust your 1st instincts...lost the 1H play on Dallas myself.

Good luck with your other plays.
