Hi Guys

was watching the Raptors - Wizards game.

Noticed something that may turn out good.

Since the public loves MJ the line on Wizard is gonna be inflated.
Since Collins does not wanna play MJ for more than 23 mins or so that means MJ is gonna come off the bench. He usually enters the game 8 mins into the first quarter and plays the last 4 mins of the quarter.

Looking at the starters for Washington:

Stackhouse --- as per my view has a huge tendency to start games SLOW and heat up as game progresses

Laettner - Horrible jump shot .. utility player in my opinion

Hughes - yet to settle down

Brown - can rebound but yet to be a dangerous player

Russel - can be dangerous but his shot % has dropped


So by this theory If one bets against Washington in the first Quarter could be very profitable.

Any views ?????

The whole point is of taking advantage of line for our benefit while MJ is on bench. Not that if MJ is on the floor he can score all the time but line will be in our favor.

hmmmmm....that is a very good angle to look at. You are exactly right about Stackhouse starting slowly in games....I know that from a fantasy standpoint watching him not do much early and heat up as the game goes on. Definitely worth following

I am going to track this angle today. I think Boston will be MAD after the loss to the Bulls yesterday and they will come out strong.

MJ rusty due to lack of game practice and will come after 7-8 mins. Stackhouse WILL start slowly. At least he usually does.

Boston should have the edge at least for the first quarer.

The Under looks like a good play. Good D by Washington and lack of offence will lead to Under.
