The Avs are 6 points behind the Vancouver Canucks for the lead in the Northwest Division and trail the St. Louis Blues by 2 points for fourth place in the Western Conference. Colorado has two games in hand on Vancouver.
San Jose is in last place in the Pacific and just fired general manager.
only wild card, I think, is Selanne. 0 goals in last 10 games. Does he break out tonight?

Also for what it is worth, my last 4 super plays have won.
Albeit all 4 against the lowly Penguins (Ottawa x2; Philly and Detroit) who play in Philly tomorrow and in New Jersey on Friday.
