ok think I figured it out, you need to "unclick" the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box, then it will work. If the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" is checked it will not work.

Can't you use "preview post" to see if it worked or not?

I tried that, and all was good! Then when tried to post it didn't show. But I figured it out now as long as the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box is NOT CLICKED everything works just fine.

Huh. Haven't seen that box. I tried to get a few .jpg's to post and I had to download it to my desktop and load from there. I will look for the "retrieve remote file and reference locally" box. Where is it on the page?

Click on "insert image" icon..........then go to "from url" then make sure box is "unclicked" and it should work....no need to download, will post right off the link.

Now if you are posting a picture from your desktop that won't work, but if you are posting from a webpage it will work just fine.
