Thought I had already posted but left it up on the screen on my way out. Had the MVC total under but won't count it on my record. That's the only play I made so far so just posting the one small wager on the game that has yet to be played tonight

Monday is the MAC opening round. Already played E Mich. and Miami Oh. E Mich beat the Rockets in Toledo Friday and they can beat them again. E Mich probably has just about as much talent as anybody in the conference but they lack both discipline and character. They should manage to keep their act together for at least the first game the tourney.

The MAC probably has more top to bottom parity than any conference I have seen. Even Miami is playing well as of late but it's so tough to win on the road in the opening round. The rest of the tourney is played in Cleveland. I'm leaning dogs in the other 2 games as of now. Playing Miami small. 8 is a decent number.

Oakland was -5 at my book and then -6 -115 just a few minutes later. They owned Wright State during the regular season and Wright State is playing 3rd game in 3 days and going to be difficult playing a team that likes track meets like Oakland. Still good at this number?

I hope so, I got in just before the line moves this morning, but would not want to go higher. see if Hooper is back also, may not be known till shortly before tip. I suspect that the moves in the number the past hour or so are a good indicator that he'll be there. I'll try to update if I hear anything concrete.

Wright doesn't have a lot of quality depth so thats a plus also

Another game with an injury to keep an eye on. NIU's big guy is still at an uncertain status. Montgomery said he was about 60% this weekend and he was still in a boot. I have a sneaky suspicion that he'll be out there but as of now :shrug:

Last game Western played them real tough despite shooting poorly, just 1 for 13 from the arc. Both games this season between the two went over tonight's number

Going small here but do like Western's chances to upset even if Maric goes


Toledo is now -2 which surprises me. I got the wrong end of the stick by betting that one early

Both Miami and Ball are somewhat unathletic, slow teams and Miami is doing a great job at playing at their preferred tempo
