I have been trying to develop a power rating of my own for several years and have been fairly successful; I am still trying to improve them and make them sharper.I will list my top "25" sometime in the next two weeks. Constructive comments and ideals are always welcome. Here is the top three as of right now. Remember these are raw ratings before the start of fall practice.
Texas 168'
USC 167'

I'll be looking forward to seeing your top 25 power ratings. Do you mind posting how you calculate your power ratings? Especially pre-season. What criteria? I imagine it takes a long time to calculate power ratings. Lastly, how do you use your power ratings for plays? I imagine if your ratings are different by a certain number vs spread. Thanks. I look forward to your reply. Good luck capping this season!

I will tell you how I calculate my numbers and the different components of my methodology. It's very time consuming but enhances your background information and I think it is exciting.
