Our (small) company would like to give a few employees a three-night stay in Las Vegas as a reward for helping the company get through a major transition.

Is it possible to pre-pay an amount to a hotel and let the employees book their stay whenever they choose, sort of like using a pre-paid debit card type thing?

Thanks,
"Joe"

OK
travel agent, booked room for OU TX. All hotels sold or higher than hell in Dallas that weekend.

Travel agents had some rooms at 60 bucks off the rate quoted me by the hotel

Any good travel agent should be able to help you

you need to understand that hotel rates in Las Vegas change almost daily depending on whether there is a major convention or event in town ..... the same room can be $49. one night and $499. the next

makes it a little harder to pre-pay in advance for any blanket night

Harley,

Yeah, I realize that but was hoping there was a way to work out a "rates good Sunday through Thursday night" type thing. Blackout dates during large conventions or events would be no problem if I know the dates in advance.
Just trying to reward a few people for a job well done.

there are several available options; the best would be to go directly through the hotel and they will be glad to take your prepaid reservation, or there are several websites available such as tripreservations. com, book vegas.com. These websites get your money and book with the hotel directly. They sometimes have good rates, check with these web sites and also the hotel to determine the best rates. Watch out for the cancel dates at both hotel and website nas they may be different.

Even if room is prepaid the hotel will most likely require a credit card for phone, room service, etc.

Hope this helps and not sure if it is ok with Jack to post the website names here; if not just delete my post.
