So the post positions are in for the 131st Preakness Stakes on Saturday at Pimlico Racecourse, and it looks to be a real showdown. As if to make up for the lack of field, down to nine after a twenty horse Kentucky Derby, the three favorites have all been drawn side by side, with Barbaro right in the middle.

Brother Derek will be in post five looking to get some revenge after a dead heat for fourth in the Derby while the highly regarded Sweetnorthernsaint will be in post seven looking to give Barbaro some competition as he is smack in the middle at post six. Two other horses worth a look are Like Now in post one and the speedy Bernardini in post eight. This looks to be a fast one, and you can be sure all eyes will be on Barbaro as he pushes for the second leg of the Triple Crown.

You can walk into a room, flip on your television and catch the final 60 seconds of an NBA game and learn everything you need to know. Same holds true for the Preakness. Coming out of the final turn, the only real question is will the Kentucky Derby winner also win the Preakness and give all sports fans a reason to care about the Belmont Stakes next month?

Will Barbaro be the next Triple Crown winner? Bet on the Preakness Stakes, the second jewel of the Triple Crown of horse racing, in the Bodog Sportsbook.
