PREAKNESS: (made for a fast track)

THose with no chance:

Menacing Dennis--figures to be 100-1. Why bother coming?
Table Limit- he'll be a rabbit for Lukas' other horse
Straight Gin--probably a little better than the other 2 but in tuff

Those with a small chance:

Booklet--He needs War Emblem to break poorly, and the other speeds to cooperate. If all that happens, he has a chance. I'd put him at 25-1

Easyfromthegitgo- 25-1 or so

Magic Weisner--it wouldn't be impossible for him to get up for 3rd. But probably not real likely, either.

All the others

Crimson Hero--should be around 15-1. Think he could hit the board if the pace if fast, which there's a good chance of.

Equality--this is a sleeper since nobody knows much about the horses he's beaten. He does have Beyers of 100 and 103 in his last 2.

Harlan's Holiday--consistent closer. Was hurt by falling too far behind pace in the Derby. This will be his 6th graded stake in 4 months.

Medaglio D'Oro--had the most trouble of any horse at Churchill. Was bumped at the start, wide on the turns, and fell behind a slow pace. Strong contender.

Proud Citizen-- has run 2 big races in a row now but did benefit from favorable circumstances both times. Think he'll be overbet.

USS Tinosa--Another sleeper type. Had a good 2nd behind Medaglio in the San Rafael then he threw a clunker in the Santa Anita Derby but was pinballed in that race.

War Emblem--He'll win again IF he's allowed to go uncontested on the lead. But the presence of Booklet should put an end to that. If its sloppy and some of the other speeds scratch, it could benefit him.

I think War Emblem showed me a lot more in the Preakness than in the Derby. He stalked the pace and has challenged hard in the stretch.
