SD (-3) over GB
Looking at a terrible O-line in GB taking on an ok SD line. Some key starters out for the chargers but all in all they will have thier unit ready to go. Favre is favre but this isn't the reg season and we will not see him long because with a patchwork o-line the big sherm will not want to risk a big hit to his main man. In the scrimage against the bills the Pack could NOT protect Nall and they looked flat out bad. Still that was just a practice and I expect more tonight, still too many question marks on O-line for the green and yellow. ALWAYS a little nervous about GB in lambo, the fans will be there - still just preseason. Also with this terrible line comes limited running room for Green, and that spells blitz from Marty! All those strikes against GB and SD has a young buck in the stable. Derrin Sproles (sp) some may know the name from K-state where a year ago he was a heisman hopeful. No LT means a lot of work for sproles tonight against a TERRIBLE GB defense. Shoty loves to run the ball and he has the backs to do it. Although I'm not a big preseason player I do like to look at young talent and checking out the way a coach calls plays in different areas of the field. Plus I am a football junkie! Looking forward to seeing Arron Rodgers and Rivers but the Chargers have more depth and in the preseason it is all about depth.......IE Orton in chicago on monday night.
