Hit the Jax. play last night....Today I'm playing....

Chi.+3 (130)....

Not crazy about paying extra juice but like last night I'm taking what I think is a motivated team who disappointed last year by not making the playoffs vs. a playoff team from last year that seems to have some unrest in their camp.

In addition SD has Left Tackle issues right now because starter McNeill is holding out, their backup has a groin injury, Tra Thomas is recovering from knee surgery and their fourth-stringer will have surgery soon. This leaves their 2nd string Right Tackle to play until someone returns. Because of this, I am looking for SD to get Rivers to play very little tonight & for SD to get this game over asap. In addition to Mc Neill, other holdouts are LBS Merriman & WR Jackson.

On the other hand I am looking for Chicago to try to energize their fan base after that disappointing seson last year. & I look for their new offense, under Mike Martz to try do some damage in this game. I have read that Martz has said that he ?would imagine that they may do a little bit more than one series? with the starters.

With Smith on the hot seat, I look for the Bears to be more motivated tonight than the Chargers, who imo will just be going through the motions.

Good Luck

Another play for me, though in the first half only. Was reading the newspaper of both cities and Lovie really wants to give Cutler a long look in the new Martz offense. He also has stated that some of his starters will see almost a full first half of work.

You are correct about SD as well. The concern is Rivers blind side and that O line is very thin.

Again, the only side that has appeal to me is the dog in this match up.

Very nice digging Al.

Thanks FCP....

I really hate betting favorites & overs in preseason....so it's dogs or unders or nothing for me.

I agree with your general theory of dogs and unders.
but could not resist GB tonight.

I also believe heavily that playing first halves in the preseason is a great method of taking many variables out of play. I do like playing 2nd half unders on occasion depending on the general flow of the game and the activity of the officials.

Continued success Al !

I know another very good capper who all he plays is 1st halves in preseason & during the regular season....I may have to start looking at those also.
