Dear RAYMOND,

President Bush won a clear victory on substance, style and credibility in the final debate tonight - showing that he's the candidate who "finishes strong." The President spoke with clarity, conviction and compassion about the most important issues facing our country.

On issue after issue, he showed Americans that he shares their values and priorities. He revealed just how far out of the mainstream Kerry's record lies on abortion, gay marriage, immigration, taxes, health care and fiscal discipline.

John Kerry showed how far he's willing to go to deceive the American people about this record when he said "I've actually passed 56 individual bills that I've personally written." The fact is that he has only been the lead sponsor of 5 bills and 4 resolutions that have become law.

The most revealing moments:

* Kerry believes education is unrelated to the economy - this is a fundamental misunderstanding of how individuals achieve the American Dream.
* President Bush believes that no child should be left behind when it comes to the quality of education she or he can get.
* A good education is the foundation for opportunity, prosperity and success.
* On immigration, John Kerry said, "we need an earned legalization program for people who have been here a long time." This amnesty proposal stands in contrast to the President's temporary worker program.

President Bush revealed John Kerry's tendency to confuse a litany of complaints with a plan. John Kerry demonstrated that he didn't have a plan and he resorted to foreign policy attacks, because he does not have an agenda for America.

Now that the debates are over, we must concentrate on our efforts to turn out the vote. You can help turn out the vote by completing these tasks:

* Join us for Walk the Vote Weekend - Tens of thousands of volunteers at thousands of parties around the country will go door-to-door in their neighborhoods to turn out the vote. The President will kick off the event with a live Internet rally webcast Saturday, October 16 from 12:45 - 2:00 pm EDT. We'll provide the maps, handouts, and everything you'll need to Walk the Vote in your neighborhood. Create your Walk at www.GeorgeWBush.com/Walk.

* Volunteer to help in the last 72 hours - Volunteers are needed to work shifts in campaign offices from coast to coast. Sign up at www.GeorgeWBush.com/72Hour - if you're not yet a Volunteer, you'll need to sign up first at www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp. Need your password? You can find it here.

* Spread the President's message - Use your Virtual Precinct to send a message to your friends and family. During the debate, the President mentioned Kerry's Liberal Record, send an e-mail to the undecided voters you know and share that record.

* Call Talk Radio and Write Letters to the Editor - By making your voice heard on talk radio and the letters page of your local paper , you can have a tremendous impact on those voters who are still trying to decide. Hearing from their neighbors the reasons President Bush is right for your community moves many voters in the final days.

* Vote! - Many states allow you to cast your vote early or by absentee ballot. If you qualify to vote by absentee or vote early in-person, you can cast your ballot now. Our website will tell you if you are eligible. Visit www.GeorgeWBush.com/VoteEarly to determine if, and where, you can vote now in your area. Please follow your local election guidelines.

By taking action now, you can guarantee our victory in November. In the remaining days of this campaign, our efforts to get the President's supporters to the polls will make the difference. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all you do.

Sincerely,
[http://www.GeorgeWBush.com]

Bill and Hillary are happy campers. All the debates are over. It is clear that Kerry can't win and it paves the way for a big victory for Hillary, in 2008.

Ray I see that memo was sent to you to convice you Bush won.
I would question anyone who send me anything trying to make me believe there believes. Folks should deside by watching. And I mean that for all of us. The american people can then say I saw and heard what I did and make up there minds. It's like the spin both sides put out after the debates. Everyone trying to tell us what we think we saw. Such BS from both. They should just shut up.

Why I think John Kerry won the debate

by Turfgrass

You have to judge the winner of a debate on policy based on the expectations and desires of the people observing the debate. If you're debating the pros and cons of abortion before a room full of Catholics, it doesn't matter who does the best job of defending a woman's right to control her own body. The person with the anti-choice position will be the winner ... period.

Last night, as in previous debates, John Kerry did a magnificent job of appealing to people who believe that government is the answer to every problem they face in their lives, whether that problem relates to their job, their health care, or just paying their bills. I believe that the majority of Americans, a slim majority perhaps, but a majority, look to the government for either help or a solution every time. The very idea that they are responsible for solving their own difficulty, and that government's job is to get out of the way so that they can do so, is anathema to the majority of voters. John Kerry appealed to these people last night. That makes him the winner.

TEMPE, Arizona (CNN) -- Sen. John Kerry appeared to gain more momentum heading toward November 2, easily beating President Bush in the third and final debate, a poll taken late Wednesday night suggests.

A CNN/USA Today/Gallup snap poll taken immediately after the presidential debate found that respondents gave a significant edge to Kerry over Bush, 52 percent to 39 percent.

The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

The numbers were similar to the results of a poll taken the night of the first debate September 30 in Miami, Florida. That night Kerry was favored by a 53 percent to 37 percent margin.

The most serious of all Flip Flops. Makes debate a slam dunk for Kerry.

KERRY: Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, "Where is Osama bin Laden?" He said, "I don't know. I don't really think about him very much. I'm not that concerned."

[...]

BUSH: Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations.

But Bush wasn't telling the truth. From a March 13, 2002, press conference:

Q: But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive?

BUSH: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.

I think the folks viewed results a lot diff then the liberal media--however I must admit I don't think Bush would win many debates against anyone--just not debating material--however I did think Cheney bitch slapped Edwards

The day after poll

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...&u=/nm/20041015/pl_nm/campaign_poll_friday_dc

However if you are a Kerry backer do not give up.

They are signing up new voters in record #'s in key areas in pivitol states--depends how many actually go to the polls--They are quite resourceful. Could you guess which counties in U.S. have had highest # of new registrations--not surprising--

"New registered voters in Miami-Dade County, a crucial Florida county in 2000, grew by 65 percent through mid-September, compared with 2000.

New registered voters jumped nearly 150 percent in Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) in Ohio, one of the most hard-fought states this year"
