Peter Budaj, Colorado Avalanche - Budaj is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Capitals, reports the Rocky Mountain News. Coach Joel Quenneville downplayed the move and tried his best to squash talk of a goalie controversy. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts if Jose Theodore continues to falter, said controversy will surely arise.
Manny Fernandez, Minnesota Wild - Fernandez is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Kings, reports the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Brian Boucher, Chicago Blackhawks - Boucher is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Canucks, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Roberto Luongo, Vancouver Canucks - Luongo is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Kari Lehtonen, Atlanta Thrashers - Lehtonen is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Hurricanes, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is one of only two goalies to start every game for his team this year and along with Miikka Kiprusoff, Marty Turco, Roberto Luongo and Martin Brodeur is likely to start over 70 games this season. As a heads up, Lehtonen figures to be the probable starter tomorrow as well against the Flyers.
Ed Belfour, Florida Panthers - Belfour is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, reports the Florida Sun-Sentinel. Alex Auld's play is slipping just as Belfour is coming on, so we might have to expect a more even platoon moving forward.

The Sharks have a great thing going with Nabokov and Vesa Toskala and it really is a testament to their scouts that they had both of these guys as well as Miikka Kiprusoff come up through their system at almost the same time. Kiprusoff was deemed the worst one and traded away and we know how that turned out. The Sharks are probably still shaking their heads at that one which may be a reason they are more content to hold onto both their goalies this time around.
