Basis for these plays is mainly I expect REYNOLDS to pitch a good game here, and HOUSTON to hit BURKETT hard and early. If they do, as I expect they will, BURKETT will be gone, thus nearly ensuring REYNOLDS has more K's, and lasts longer.
Reasoning behind OVER 12.5 K's is the prospect of having DOTEL & WAGNER both go at least one inning each, thus adding 3-4 K's to the total. This all assumes HOU bats well and has the lead of course, but this ties into NOLAN's theory on his page concerning related bets.
Obviously if BURKETT pitches great, and shuts down HOU, I lose all these plays, but that is why I limited my units each. However, if BURKETT does go long in this game and SMOLTZ comes on in relief, this too will help ensure the OVER 12.5 K's.
