No time for write-ups on early games, but here goes!

CUBS OVER 9.5 EVEN
PHILA -140
OAKLAND UN 9
ANA -130
KAN CITY +105
SEATTLE -145

** ONE NOTE: Lieber for CUBS shold give up at LEAST 3 HR's tonite vs HOUSTON. In his last start, only the WIND held up at least 3 to 4 dingers by COLORADO... ENRON won't. I like the OVER instead of HOUSTON, cause I don't trust the NUT, Pistacio!!

RANDER I AGREE WITH YOUR OVER PLAY HERE, BUT FOR DIFFERENT REASONS. I THINK LIEBER WILL GIVE UP A FEW RUNS, BUT DON'T BE FOOLED BY HIS LAST OUTING. HE IS A GROUND BALL PITCHER AND STATS ARE BEHIND THAT. 3.2/1 THAT IS GROUND BALLS TO FLY BALLS. WHEN YOU PITCH IN CHICAGO YOU THROW THE FAT FASTBALL AND DARE THEM TO TRY AND HIT HOMERUNS. HE PITCHED TO THE ELEMENTS LAST TIME. BUT I DO AGREE WITH THE PLAY I THINK ONE OR THE OTHER TEAM WILL HAVE A VERY GOOD OFFENSIVE NIGHT AFTER LAST NIGHT.

GOOD LUCK RANDER

adding these:

PHIL OVER 9 -120
Neither pitcher in great form, PHIL bats have been hot lately and we got a big time OVER UMP in HIGGINS at 8-2. Looking for a 6-5, 7-6 type game here.

STL -160
I like STL at home period! Like mentioned by others, STL is probably the best team in NL at this time, and CINCY is going thru the motions. STL 12-7 in Game 2 after W, CIN 6-13 in Game 2 after L. Too much going for STL to pass.

CHI WS OVER 10 -105

Helling has been winning lately, but mainly due to big time support. BOTH these pitchers have ERA's over 6 in this situation, HELLING on road, LOWE at home, and I don't see that changing tonite. 8-4 type game here.

Atl -120 at COLO

As bad as ATL is playing, I'll take BURKETT on the road at this price. In fact, this is a great spot for them as they are +565 on road vs LH, while COLO is -1470 at home vs RH. At -120, it gets my vote.

Oh well.. here's the late card!

METS OVER 8

Jarvis going at home... automatic play for me!

MONTREAL +150

This line is a joke!!!! I posted about PAVANO under RAYMOND's thread, sure everyone saw it there, but no way L.A. should be this big a favorite after losing five in a row, and starting a reliever! PAVONO is 3-0 lifetime vs LA with 1.69 ERA!

SAN FRAN -160

Like I mentioned in the STL game, love the GIANTS at home, especially as hot as they are! FLORIDA is very tough at home, but that's it! They are -1250 Money wise on the road vs RH, and SF is +700~~ That's nearly a $2000 swing! One of the biggest you'll see, and you only lay -160! Look for Bonds to go deep yet again tonite!

Well, it wasn't a TOTALLY lucky 13, but I'll take it... 8-5 on the nite, +2.65 Units.

I had a bad feeling about ANAHEIM, since ALMOST everyone had them tonite. I went along with the crowd and played it, figuring ANGELS "knew" Sparks, since he pitched for them. Didn't help tonite... and then... the MONTREAL FIASCO!

SOOOOO many people were all over this game~ could not see it. Guess that's what I get for going AGAINST RAYMOND!
wink.gif
CONGRATS YYZ who played a HUGE 4 unit play on LA -1.5!! That took some brass ones, or you're fricking PSYCHIC!! or some may think, Psycho!

As a side note... I woke up this morning, and all I can remember from my dream was I had been watching the BRAVES on TV, and Burkett won! When I noticed he was pitching tonite, it was tempting to go nuts on it... I didn't of course, don't know if I believe such things, but man it was weird... I may have been tempted, but couldn't remember who it was he pitched AGAINST in my dream. I didn't bother to watch the game tonite either... why bother, I saw it the NITE BEFORE~

NEXT Time it happens, I'll let you all know.
